La FITH y sus afiliados, junto con una red global de organizaciones que trabajan para la protecci\u00f3n del trabajador del hogar migrante en Am\u00e9rica Latina unen sus esfuerzos y desarrollan diferentes acciones, servicios, investigaciones y recursos en sus esfuerzos para garantizar los derechos humanos de todo trabajador del hogar; independientemente de su nacionalidad o situaci\u00f3n migratoria.<\/p>\n<p>AM\u00c9RICA LATINA &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>La migraci\u00f3n interna y transfronteriza es significativa en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el trabajo del hogar y de cuidado es una fuente importante de empleo para los migrantes. La mayor\u00eda de los migrantes empleados en el servicio dom\u00e9stico son mujeres que enfrentan mayor riesgo de explotaci\u00f3n, discriminaci\u00f3n, tr\u00e1fico humano y abuso. Sus ganancias se encuentran entre las m\u00e1s bajas de todos los empleos y una proporci\u00f3n significativa vive por debajo de la l\u00ednea de pobreza.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de la importante contribuci\u00f3n que hacen los trabajadores del hogar migrantes a nuestras sociedades, la gran mayor\u00eda no se encuentra protegida y\/o son indocumentados viviendo con miedo a la deportaci\u00f3n. Estos temas deben ser abordados con di\u00e1logos, acciones y ajustes legislativos que apoyen la inclusi\u00f3n del todo migrante, inmigrante y refugiado al mercado laboral bajo marcos legales y protecciones sociales.<\/p>\n<p>El d\u00eda Internacional de los Trabajadores y Trabajadoras del Hogar se celebra un movimiento que busca asegurar los derechos de esta mano de obra creciente pero generalmente oculta. La FITH y sus afiliados, junto con una red global de organizaciones que trabajan para la protecci\u00f3n del trabajador del hogar migrante en Am\u00e9rica Latina unen sus esfuerzos y desarrollan diferentes acciones, servicios, investigaciones y recursos en sus esfuerzos para garantizar los derechos humanos de todo trabajador del hogar; independientemente de su nacionalidad o situaci\u00f3n migratoria.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe destacar en la regi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carmen Britez en la CIT 2017 presenta la aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil \\\u00bbMigraci\u00f3n y Trabajo Dom\u00e9stico\\\u00bb desarrollada por la OIT junto con la Uni\u00f3n Personal Auxiliar de Casas Particulares (U.P.A.C.P.), Ministerio de Trabajo y grupos de trabajadores dom\u00e9sticos migrantes en Argentina.
